Outlook 2007 import pst file

when trying to import a 2007 pst file into outlook 2007 i get
"errors have been detected in the file use Scanpst.exe" but when run it
closes after pass 6 with no files have been changed.
The file size is over 1.8Gb, if the file is corupt is there a program which
can be used to remove/delete some of the file data to recover what data is
left?
I can not import this file on this pc or no any other

Why are you importing at all? All the wisdom on this and every other Outlook
group says "do NOT import pst files"!
Copy the file to your HDD to a location to which you have full read/write
permissions, (do not overwrite any existing pst file), remove any read-only
attribute and in Outlook do File-Open-Outlook Data File.
