Outlook 2007 in Office 2002/XP environment?

Al

Would like to upgrade Outlook 2002 to Outlook in a pc currently with Office
2002 and Outlook 2002 in XP environment.

QUESTION: Is there any shared files, executables, DLLs, whatever between
Office 2002 and Outlook 2002 that would prevent me from taking out Outlook
2002 and replacing same with Outlook 2007?

REASON: Want to swap Contact PST's between 2 pc's using Live Sync without
having to remap contacts back and forth.

Thanks

you can install outlook 2007 with office2002 but will lose word as the
editor and some spell check and grammar check features. You'll also lose
"wordmail" (the envelope icon in word and excel) and a few others things.
