Outlook 2007 Inbox deleted items folder

I am using Windows XP Pro. Since adding Outlook 2007 messages from outside
sources are being directed to the Inbox deleted folder. Although it
indicates that I should be able to select the email and send it to my Inbox,
that does not work either. I was able to add the sender to the servers
whitelist and they now go to the Inbox but I have no idea why they were sent
to the deleted file in the first place. If anyone has a solution, please
advise. Thanks.

Outlook doesn't put incoming items in the Deleted Items folder unless you
specifically created a rule to do so. Moreover, Outlook's Junk E-mail filter
doesn't do that, either. It either places messages flagged as junk into the
Junk E-mail folder or it permanently deleted them, bypassing the Deleted Items
folder. Sounds like you have a third-party antispam tool integrated into
Outlook.
