Outlook 2007 - incoming email stops me typing!!

C

CJSnet

I just wanted to add my voice to the increasing number of people having
problems with the speed of Outlook 2007 - or lack of speed I should say.

I have disabled all add-ins, yet still something as simple as a new email
arriving stops me typing another email for up to 15 seconds. Completely
ruins one's train of thought.

I hope the Outlook team are furiously working away at an imminent patch
before Outlook becomes the dodo of the software world. Dumb, slow, and
extinct.

MS doesn't participate in these newsgroups. You are only talking to
peers, other users like you (MVPs are users, not MS employees).

I thought it was something like that, but that MVPs have more power to feed
these things back, and to advise us mere mortals of whether MS are aware of
this and working on a fix?

Or if you know of any things that can improve this. I am wonderif for
example if having rules set up cause the computer to cease allowing me to
type on the keyboard when new male comes in for those rules...
