I'm running Windows 7 and Outlook 2007. The first time I opened Outlook 2007,
I incorrectly configured the mail server as MS Exchange instead of POP3.
After a couple failures to connect, it says the OST file is not valid and
closes. I have no way to get around this, and the problem is that I can't
open outlook 2007 to fix it.
I've read other threads about going into CP and using Mail applet to remove
the profile. In Windows 7 there is no mail applet in control panel.
Also attempted to use "Outlook.exe /firstrun") with flags from the command
line and this failed.
What can I do to get Outlook reconfigured as the POP3 server?
