Outlook 2007 instant search doesn't work

Good morning,

I am running Office 2007 and Vista Home Premium. New notebook, new profile,
new everything. Moved my pst file from the old computer, opened it up.
Instant search ran and indexed everything and things were fine for a couple
of weeks. Now searching doesn't work at all. It was crashing, then I
installed Windows Search update 4.0. No more crashes, but Outlook won't do a
search in email. Contact searches are fine. Created new profile again.
What now? One of the most used features is not working for me!
