Recipients of my email complain of getting several copies of my mailing. One
person got 26 copies of the same letter. This does not occur when using
IncrediMail.

Every email you send, or just files with attachments?

Are you able to reproduce the problem if you send a message to a hotmail
or gmail account you set up?

Make sure you are NOT scanning your outgoing email with an antivirus
program. Uninstall your AV program and reinstall it without the mail
scanning feature.

I am experiencing the exact same problem. I believe that it is due to installation of Google Desktop. When the Google Add-in for Outlook is enabled, then I notice that the Outlook.exe does not shut down in task manager when exiting Outlook. So when I start Outlook again, I then have 2 copies running. This is the only thing that I have been able to come up with as a cause, because it does not happen if I kill off all the extra Outlook tasks.
I have submitted this to Google, but have not heard any response in nearly a week.
Please let me know if you have a fix.
Thanks!

Glad it's a known problem. Because searching I found severall other Google Desktop / Outlook problems, but hadn't found anything on this one.
Is there a fix other than disabling the Google add-in for Outlook?

The current version of GDS is supposed to fix the problem. You can also
disable the indexing of mail messages in GDS.
