Hello!
I must confess I feel good working with Office 2007. At first sight I felt
lost, but after a couple of months of using it, I feel happy with it.
However, there's one issue I'm not happy with: How slow is Outlook 2007. I do
have a "normal" laptop where Outlook 2003 used to run smoothly. However, I
really don't know why Outlook 2007 is too slow: it takes a year for the
application to appear when you double click on its shortcut icon; and then
when it sends/receives e.mails it is a nightmare (to be honest, I press F9,
and I leave my desk for 5 mins. waiting for the e-mails to sent and
received). I do check several e-mails accounts (6) but with Outlook 2003 that
was faster than light!. I don't know maybe it is the Windows Desktop Search
Engine, I don't know.. but all I know is that people would not go and buy
more RAM, or faster HDD or a new Pentium or a new PC just because of Outlook.
.... hmm I thnink some screws must be fixed here.
