Outlook 2007 - Junk mail desktop notifications

I am using Outlook 2007 Professional and I'm having trouble with new mail
notifications. The problem is that Outlook is showing the new mail envelope
and playing the notfication sound even for junk mail. This is quite
frustrating. I often have Outlook buried underneath scads of other windows,
so I need the envelope and sound notification to let me know something new
has come in. But, it should not give me notification when it moves email to
my junk folder.

What can I do to keep Outlook for giving me notifications on email moved to
the junk folder?
