Outlook 2007 keeps asking for internet password

How can I get the internet password box to stop reappearing every few
minutes? I have filled in my username and password and clicked on the box
that asks if I want to save the password. I click ok and then it reappears in
a matter of seconds. I do this over and over again. How do I get it to stop?

Microsoft has a huge support knowledgebase at
http://support.microsoft.com. Pick "Outlook 2007" as the product and
simply search on "remember password". I suspect it will be the
article that has you edit the registry to flush a Protect Storage key
(so add "protected storage" to the search) that caches the password
(i.e., when you select the checkbox to remember your password). It
sounds like every few minutes when Outlook is configured for its mail
poll interval is when you get the login prompt but the cached password
area in the registry is corrupt or permissions on the entries is
screwed up.
