Will Outlook run if you open it in safe mode?

Start > Start Search > outlook.exe /safe
(note the space between outlook.exe and /safe)

If you're running XP or earlier, the command is:

Start > Run > outlook.exe /safe

I have the same problem, and it won't start in safe mode either. I can add a
new profile and it starts just fine. Please help! :)
