Outlook 2007 keeps shutting down upon opening.

I am using Vista as my OS. I have upgraded to Outlook 2007 and ever since I
have been unable to work with it. For no known reason the program stops and I
get a message stating MS Outlook has encountered an error and is shutting
down.

How can I fix this problem?
