Outlook 2007 locks up on me while I am typing. I have windows XP. In Taskman
I see OUTLOOK.EXE consuming 30-40% of my CPU. The mouse icon disappears when
moved over an outlook window. Ending the outlook tasks in Taskman causes all
outlook windows to go to "Not Responding" status. 2 to 3 minutes later all
outlook tasks will close. I always send the failure reports in to Microsoft.
This happens most often right after I re-start my computer, and usually I
don't see it again until I restart.
This topic returns hundreds of similar cases in Google, but Microsoft oddly
has absolutely nothing. The google results sometimes refer to Outlook 2003,
but I never had it happen with Outlook 2003. Nothing I've seen in google
searches addresses how to make this stop, so I'm hoping I can get an answer
