Outlook 2007 Missing Lost Emails

I recently ugraded from 2003 to 2007. My problem is that some email downloads
but dissappears never viewable.

I DO NOT HAVE ANY RULES OR JUNK MAIL FILTERS TURNED ON.

I thought problem was corrupt pst (still may be) so I created a new pst and
then copied over everything to new pst. Strange thing happened after I copied
everything over THEN 150 emails that were never viewable suddenly showed up
in pst.

This seemed to fix the problem but today installed updates for XP which
required restart and I don't know if it closed Outlook incorrectly or what
but now am having same problem where emails are downloading but disappear.
I've run scanpst and doesn't seem to fix.

If anybody has a fix for this -I would be greatly appreciative.

I found that if I change my view to unread message then the missing emails
magically appear. But viewing all message they are hidden.

Anybody else having this problem?
