outlook 2007 "moving characters"

all moving characters/images (smilies, etc) and some video clips do not
operate (move) when in outlook. these same characters & videos work fine
when viewed in a browser (i.e., yahoo/gmail).
this must be controled by some "switch" in outlook 2007.
can anybody out there help??

No, Outlook 2007 doesn't support gif-animations.
