With outlook closed copy the data file (probably named outlook.pst)
Or use the free backup addin from MS site

I have successfully backed up everything in Outlook including Business
Contact Manager but "My Contacts" never seems to backup.

I have successfully backed up everything in Outlook including Business
Contact Manager but "My Contacts" never seems to backup.

I don't use BCM and this newsgroup doesn't deal with BCM
(microsoft.public.outlook.bcm does), but my impression is that BCM has its own
contacts handling, apart from the normal Outlook contacts, so the backup
methods will be different than for the rest of Outlook. Ask in the BCM
newsgroup or visit Microsoft's web site:
