Outlook 2007 - New Mail Font

I have configured Outlook as follows: n Tools --Options-mail
format-Stationary & Fonts

New mail messages - Times New Roman - Bold-

However when I start a new mail it is not coming up as Bold.

I have deleted the configuration 3 or 4 times but thye problems continues

On the other hand I have also set up different Fonts for Replying &
forwarding mails - They work OK

Has anybody experienced this and have they found a solution

Will appreciate any imput

Is any theme selected? A theme might be overriding your selection.
Also check that html is your default email format.
