Outlook 2007 no more works after Technical Refresh

E

Ernst Kessler

Hi
I have under XP SP2 MS Office 2002 SP3 and installed parallel MS Office Beta
2. All runed well until I installed newest Office Beta 2 Technical Refresh.
Outlook no more works now: Outlook 2002 has error message MAPI32.DLL
corrupted or wrong version, Outlook 2007 has error message cannot be opened,
not enough RAM or systems resources (which cannot be the case, 2GB RAM/>100GB
free HDD). Running fixmapi.exe and setting msmapi32.dll to old and restart
didn’t help either.
Any further advice appreciated.

Get rid off one of them. You cannot have two Outlook versions on the
same computer. I'd suggest to get rid of Outlook 2002, then run Office
Diagnostics, followed by a repair of the Office setup. If you are lucky,
things will work afterwards. If not, you might have to go through a full
removal of 2007 and reinstalling it.
