Outlook 2007 not available?

Running on Win XP Pro. Installed Office Pro 2007 upgrade on top of Office
2003. Everything worked fine. Reran install cd and chose "customization"
and added features to Excel.

Now, Outlook 2007 is nowhere to be found... no desktop icons, not listed
under programs menu.

Tried re-running installation cd as "repair" and as "add features/remove"...
in the feature selection menus Outlook has a red X and is indicated as "not
available". Left/right clicking does not bring up any options to install it.

How can I restore Outlook?

You need to uninstall Outlook 2003, then re-do the install of Office 2007,
making Outlook available...

Thanks for responding so quick... I have 2 Q's:

- Didn't the Office 2007 upgrade uninstall Office 2003?

- If I remove Office 2003 and then install Office 2007 from the Upgrade cd,
how does it qualify the pc for an upgrade?

...thanks

not by default AFAIK

No, just uninstall OUTLOOK 2003 then re-do the install....
