Outlook 2007 not downloading pictures, only links

I'm not sure why it happened, but all of a sudden my Outlook 2007 doesn't
show pictures in some of the emails. It shows the links instead, but the
links are to things like the header, or a spacer, etc. I've tried the
suggestions I found on this subject on this website, but it's still
happening. And it's only from certain senders, not all. I've added them to
my safe senders list, but it still didn't help. Any suggestions?

I was also experiencing this problem - somewhere along the way in researching
this, I found an entry at www.slipstick.com/problems/redx.asp (titled "Red
X's in Email") that indicated the problem was a "full" temporary file folder
- specifically the SecureTemp folder for Outlook. This SecureTemp folder is
located in different locations based on your version of Windows - for XP it's
at:
c:\documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\
OLK*\
Once I located this hidden folder and moved the 4800+ file sto the Recycle
Bin, I was able to go back into a message that previously had displayed only
some of the pictures and was able to view ALL the pictures.

This has been a frustrating problem for a long time so I hope this helps
someone else resolve their issue.
