Outlook 2007 "not responding"

I cannot get Outlook 2007 to keep operating properly. After it downloads one
or two messages it stops responding. I have run Office Diagnostics with no
results. I have uninstalled and reinstalled which does help for a little
while but by the end of 24 hours, Outlook stops responding. I have
uninstalled just about every add on program I can find in my control panel
list of programs, then uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook with no better
results. I have purchased various registry programs try to clear the
registry, and this has not helped. I am open to suggestions. Please help.

Do you have web access to the mailbox you're accessing with Outlook? If so,
you might wish to check for a message stuck in the Inbox on the server.
