I am having the same sending problem as some others. However it am not using
the Yahoo BT service so the port change did not help....(obviously)
I have WinXP Home and Office 2007 version of Outlook. I can receive e-mail
correctly and sometimes i can send/reply to an e-mail and it does go through
however the outbox does not get emptied. (I sent an e-mail from my wife's
account to my account and i got it just fine yet her outbox says it's still
sending) We have the same ISP for our e-mail and i am using Outlook 2007 as
well and i have no problems sending or receiving so i know the problem is not
with the ISP or her account. I deleted her account from the computer and
reset everything and the 'Test Account Settings' verified the settings were
correct as i received the test e-mail. (So, Outlook can send somehting) I
took this a step further and fired up Outlook Express and set up her account
in there and e-mails could be send and received perfectly. So, i am
concluding it is a problem with Outlook but i am stumped where to go next. I
did a repair on the program and drilled through all the menus and i think the
only think I know to do next is just reinstall the program and i'd prefer not
to do that...
thanks to anyone who might have an idea...
