I am using Outlook 2007 with an Exchange server account (work) and a separate
IMAP account (personal). The problem is with my Exchange account (the IMAP
acct sends and receives emails fine). After booting the PC, Outlook is able
to send emails via Exchange without problem. However, after an unknown period
of time, the emails stop leaving the outbox. Looking at the email in the
outbox, the email is not italicized. I also experienced this problem when I
used Outlook 2003 so upgrading to 2007 made no difference.
I've seen a workaround on the community which is to open the email, switch
to a different folder and resend. This does indeed work. However, for someone
who sends a lot of emails, this is far too cumbersome and really doesn't
address the underlying issue. Has anyone discovered a proper fix for this?
