Outlook 2007 not sending or receiving emails

Outlook 2007 will not send or receive emails at all.
Error message is timed out waiting for a response ...... contact your ISP.
Outlook Express will send and receive emails on the same computer.
Server Timeout set to 10 mins with no improvement.
Internet etc work OK
Diagnostics say there is problem.

Hi Bruce. Did you ever get an answer back regarding this? I have been having
this problem for several weeks and have just gotten around to trying this
route to get some answers!

Perhaps if you posted some actual useful information like what diagnostics actually reports as the problem, someone can jump in to help. As it stands, the OP received no answer as there is nothing there to answer, just a generic complaint with no specifics. You will find that specific problems are answered faster than those that have no meat.
