Outlook 2007 Notes and Colors

I have catgorized all my notes but they do not sort by color completely.
They mostly group together, but not all of them do. I recategorized each
note with no change in results.

Which view are you using?
Are you only sorting by category or also by something else?
Do all the notes have the same basic color and only differ in their assigned
category?
Do these notes have multiple categories assigned?

Hi,
Custom view with large icons, sorting by color only, 6 categories with 6
different colors, single category per note. I have found that similar
colors, ie light green and dark green, sort as a single color.
