Outlook 2007 opens then closes a few seconds later

Outlook 2007 seems to open normally then closes after 2 or 3 seconds. I've
run the repair function on the program disk. OS is Vista Business Edition

Have you tried running scanpst.exe against your .pst file? Have you tried a new mail profile?

Mine is on XP PRofessional but is the same issue. I tried running the
scanpst file, and it did not help.

Any other suggestions?
