Outlook 2007, Outlook Connector and MSN Hotmail

R

Robert Regnell

I can use the outlook connector to see whatever messages are stored in my MSN
email account. What I don;t understand is that I cannout use Outlook to
delete messages and have the delete carried out in the MSN email. If I
delete a message it still resides in MSN mail. If I move a message to an
offline folder, the mail still resides in MSN mail.

Am I asking too much here?

TIA,

Bob

Do you have the latest version of the Outlook Connector installed?

Yes I do.

Also, I'm usingWindows Live Mail. I have this issue both on Win XP with a
free MSN.com email address as well as an annual subscription based MSN.com
email account with Vista and Outlook 2007.

Thanks,

Bob

Have you asked the Windows Live Mail/MSN folks about this? I am asking
because I use the newest Outlook Connector with two free Windows Live Mail
accounts in OL2007 on Windows XP and I have no problems deleting things from
the web server through Outlook.
