Outlook 2007 & Outlook XP PST file compatibility

T

TimK

I installed Office 2007 with no problems. Obviously the Beta software
expired and I reinstalled Office XP only to find the PST from 2007 is not
compatible with XP.

I installed another copy of Office 2007 and successfully reopened my PST.

Does anyone know how to export/convert the 2007 PST file to make it
compatible with XP when I have to reinstall it again?

Thanks...

Outlook provides you the opportunity to create a PST file in the old format.
File > New > Outlook Data File > Outlook 97-2002 Personal Folders File...

The beta software expired?
The only two beta versions that are publically available haven't expired
yet. Beta 2 is set to expire in February while Beta 2 Technical Refresh
is set to expire in March.
