Outlook 2007 & Palm

I have been successfuully synching my Palm Vx with Outlook 2007. The Palm OS
is v. 3.1 and it uses Pocket Mirror to synch. Just two days ago, the hotsynch
operation went successfully until just at the point where it should have
ended, it hung up trying to synchronize with Mail. 1 This is new, and
especially disturbing since I do not have a Mail Conduit that I can
over-ride. And, since I need to cancel the operation, my Palm stouch screen
becomes insensitive. The situation has been going on now for several days,
and the Palm people seem stumped. Can anyone help? Has anyone run into this?

Outlook doesn't play an active role in the sync process. This is handled by
your installed sync application. See if keeps sync logs or something to
identify what is going on.

The only Outlook side troubleshooting that you can do is verifying the
integrity of you pst-file;
