Hello,
I know this question has been asked a few times, but I still do not feel I've read a clear explaination.
When I see external or internal names in the To line, somtimes they are like Smith, Tom <[email protected]>; Smith, Becky <[email protected]>
And if I select them, right click copy, and go into the message body and click paste, it only pastes the display name.
I'm not trying to recreate a distribution list. I'm not trying to recover lost contacts. I work with a lot of vendors and act as a bridge between the business and IT, and often I have to cut and paste e-mail addresses into the body of a message when I forward, and cannot do so as it just pastes the display name.
Is there really no way to disable this "feature" and just have it paste what is being displayed in the To or CC line ?? I dont want to have to right click on each address, go to properties, and select the e-mail address from there, copy that, in order to paste it into the message body.
One-offs is alright, but if I have 3-4 email addresses I'm copying it becomes time consuming.
Any configuration item I can change to have it paste the email address, not the just the 'Smith, Becky' display name without the full smtp?
