Outlook 2007 - People on vacation

I have a number of Distribution lists and during the summer, too many people
are on vacation and ask not to be send e-mails from certain date until days
later.
Is there a way to handle the "no e-mails" status? I do not see anything on
Outlook to flag these people so no mail is sent to them.

No, this is why we recommend using categories to create dynamic DLs - you
can easily remove someone from a category and add them back.
