Outlook 2007 : Performance Appraisal and Review of employees

L

LBaldrey

Hi everyone,

New here and needing help...

I have been asked to investigate the possibility of using Outlook 200
to automate the Performance Appraisal and Review of employees in m
company.

What should happen is..

1.The Employee will fill in an email template perhaps with th
Performance Review Excel Sheet regarding their achievements etc durin
the year.

2. When they have done filling it in and click send it should be sen
automatically with the Excel sheet attached to their respective Lin
Manager.

3. The Line Manager will in turn update the Excel File with thei
comments and when they click send it should be sent automatically t
the respective top management.

Is there a way to do this using Outlook?

Thanks everyone...

do you use sharepoint? That might be better for this - but either way

you'll need to do some forms or workflow design.

It's possible to do it in Outlook - there is an outlook.programs_forms
newsgroup on this server. This really isn't the place for sharepoint help
(there are sharepoint groups here too).... you can make libraries with forms
users can fill out. You can also use Infopath (if each user has it).

Hope this helps understand the workflow process....

It depends on which app you are working in. <g> Outlook forms sending data
to sps, use outlook for everything related to the outlook side. If
connecting to the sps database isn't working, go to sps. Designing
libraries or sps forms, sps forums can assist.
