Outlook 2007 pictures are pasted in larger than source

In Outlook 2007, if I paste an image from the clipboard or use the insert
picture command, the image comes in larger than the source. I then have to
use the image size to reduce the image to 91% or it's size in order to make
it exactly the same as the original.

This bug is annoying when you have text inside images (such as screenshots)
because it blurs the text. I can't attach images in here, so here's one
hosted externally. I've taken screenshots of my little "screen ruler" program
and pasted them in to work out exactly how much bigger the image is. Is there
a way to turn of this wretchedly awful behaviour?

Your screenshot shows you are composing in Rich Text. Do you have any
specific need for this? Switch to HTML and try again.

No the behavious is identical regardless of whether I use HTML or RTF format.
It is identical whether I set this on an indivudal mail, or set it through
the outlook options (and restart outlook, of course).

In Word 2007, The behaviour is to paste the image at the exact size. Outlook
simply does not respect the size of images.

Here's some further investigations in Word and Outlook:

border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us" /></a>

You can see I am now working in HTML mode.

Also considering the text size, I don't expect this to be a picture issue
but a zooming issue.
Outlook does have a zoom control though. It is on the Format Text tab. Is
this set to 100%?

I am also having this problem.
When pasted, an image will be shown much bigger in the e-mail.
And text will become blurry, i have found no way to paste the image in its
correct size in the e-mail. It's never as clear and crisp as if i paste it
somewhere other then Outlook. The zoom-control is at 100%, so this is not the
issue.
