Hi
I wonder if anyone can help.
Until earlier this week I had a fully-functioning Outlook 2007
downloading my e-mails through Pobox.com.
My e-mails arrived safely through the Personal Folders Inbox
(presumably via POP3.
Through no fault of mine, the PC suffered a power outage which cause a
few problems with Outlook 2007 on re-boot.
I have managed to fix most of the problems, with the assistance of
another on a separate forum.
My problem now is that Outlook refuses to communicate with Pobox.com
's servers.
My copy of Mailwasher manages and so does my copy of Forte's Agent.
BUT using the same settings Outlook steadfastly refuses to oblige.
I have tried the advice given on the Pobox.con Help pages but they
state that Outlook 2007 will only work via IMAP.
THAT does not work either!
Ho hum........
Is something that I am missing, or that I need to correct. I have
tried deleting mail accounts and re-Adding them. I have tried
uninstalling Office 2007 and reinstalling the complete package.
Neither worked.
Has anyone previously experienced anything similar?
Is there a solution?
Hoping someone can assist - Best Wishes - David
