Outlook 2007 problems with emails

i have recently installed Outlook 2007. I do not receive emails from certain
senders even though they are not blocked and have been added to my safe
senders list and the senders do not receive any message that the emails have
not been sent. I use Norton Anti virus by Symantec to scan emails. i had no
problems when i was using outlook 2003. Any suggestions please?
