Hi,
I have been having funky issues with Outlook 2007 lately.
I run outlook and connect to an Exchange server. I run outlook on only one
PC. I do use a smartphone with ActiveSync. I am running Outlook 2007
(12.0.6212.1000) SP1 MSO (12.0.6213.1000).
One of the issues is that I am not able to dismiss reminders. When I do, I
get a pop-up saying:
"Cannot turn off the reminder. You may be reminded again. Cannot locate the
recurrance for this appointment"
The other issue has to do with the "Current View" of my inbox. I have set it
to have "Preview Pane" off, yet when I close outlook and come back in,
preview is back on. The other issue related to my inbox is that I setup
Automatic Formatting to assign color font to certain recipients. Again, when
I go out of outlook and reload, the Automatic Formating is gone.
I have run the diagnostic tool and have tried the command line switches
outlook.exe /cleanviews and outlook.exe /cleanforms, yet the problem
persists. I have also tried renaming the various Views.dat, Outcmd.dat,
Extend.dat, Frmcache.dat and clearing forms cache.
Anybody out there know a fix for these issues.
Thanks
Greg
