Outlook 2007 - Remove attachment and write note in message

I have discovered the add-in "Attachments to Folders" that removes and saves
all attachments to all incoming emails. Rather than do this for all emails,
I want to do this only for selected emails and only when I manually remove an
attachment. Any ideas?

Write your own add-in? http://www.outlookcode.com has, iirc, some examples
that you can call in a rule.

Otherwise, find whoever wrote the add-in and ask them to add a feature.

Just save it yourself when you wish, then.
