Outlook 2007 reply and forward

Using Outlook 2007 w/ exchange. When I try to reply or forward an e-mail, it
does not go out except it ends up in my inbox. I think people were getting my
e-mails but they actually never received them.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
