any time i click new, reply, or forward the first time outlook is opened it
is ok. The second time i click new, reply, or forward in any combination, I
get the "Microsoft Office Outlook has encountered a problem..." if i do the
send error report and it sends and gives me the option to get more
information i click on the link and it tells me that there is an upgrade for
adobe acrobat. I have upgraded and everything to acrobat, but the error
persists. As much as i hate acrobat i need it and i am hating the idea of
going back to outlook 2003. Any ideas acrobat is version 6.0.5 and the
outlook is beta 2. os is xp sp2

Disable Adobe's integration with Outlook and try again.

Only remove the Acrobat Outlook & Office plugins (they don't work anyhow
with 2007). Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Change Acrobat Pro
6, click Modify and remove those two addins.
