According to MS Help information, the RMS Client is already installed in
Vista? A MS Office Outlook Team Blog had this offering:
"How do I set IRM permissions on a message I will be sending?
Open Outlook 2007 and compose a new mail message by clicking on the “New
Mail Message†button.
Select the “Do Not Forward†IRM restriction for the message. This can be
done by clicking on the Microsoft Office Button and then choosing Permission,
“Do Not Forwardâ€. Alternatively this can be accessed by clicking on the
Permission button in the ribbon and then selecting the “Do Not Forwardâ€
restriction.
If the Microsoft IRM add-on has not been installed on your machine, Outlook
2007 will prompt you to download the latest version of the Rights Management
Service (RMS) client software."
Ok, I do not have the Permission item on the Office Btn. nor do I have the
Permission btn. on the ribbon. Does this require an Exchange Server? If I
down load MS trial RMS version will I be able to run it on my home PC?
