Outlook 2007 RSS feed shows pending

One of the RSS feeds I am trying to add shows "Pending" under the "Last
Updated" column. It will show this for three or four hours, then just
disappear from the RSS Feeds tab in Account Settings. Any thoughts or
suggestions on how to actually get my RSS feed to update and not just show
"Pending"?

Delete the feed. Then go to Documents and Settings\username\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
And delete the file ending in sharing.xml.obi

Does it work then?

I tried your fix, but I am still getting the "Pending" for two of the feeds.
Here are the three feeds I am trying to get.

This one works:

These two show pending, then just disappear after 4 hours or so:

I tried the inlandempire one here and it works fine.
Do you close the Account settings window after you added it?

You might have to delete all your RSS feeds and start over. Use File,
Import and Export to export them as OPML. Then delete all of them (and
the folders in RSS subscriptions), close Outlook, delete the xml.obi
file, reopen Outlook and import the OPML file back in.

Patrick....I tried your suggestion exporting as an OPML and deleting the
files. When I imported the OPML, it only showed the two successful RSS feeds
that were previously successful (MSNBC and OrangeCounty.Craigslist.org).

The second time I deleted all RSS feeds from outlook. Deleted the .obi
files. Deleted the folders in Outlook. Then I shut down Outlook, rebooted
the machine, opened Outlook and manaually reentered the RSS feed, but that
didnt work either. The second attempt I did not try to import the OPML file.
