[Outlook 2007] RSS in Unread Mail

My RSS feeds are clogging up my "Unread Mail" Search Folder.

How can I set my "Unread Mail" folder to only display mail and not RSS
feeds?

Also, is there a way to synchronize which items have been read between
Outlook 2007 and IE7?

Make a new unread search folder and only include the folders you want to
show unread mail from.

instead of the entire mailbox.
