Outlook 2007, Rule and alert is greyed out, why?

I have just installed Odffice2007 trial version.

I am in Outlook and I am trying to create a rule chossing "Rules and Alert".
The only problem is that the option is greyed out. The Mail tab is on, yet
whatever IJ do I can't manage to activate the option.

Do you already have a properly configured account?
What account type are you using?
Is that the only grayed out option?
