Outlook 2007: save as text wraps

When I open a message and "save as text" from Outlook 2007 the resulting .txt
file has the message text wrapped at about 80 characters/line. The message
display is not wrapped and if I cut and paste from the message display to a
notepad document, the text is not wrapped.

Is there a way to get "save as" to NOT wrap the text?
