Yes, htm-files stores supporting file types (like structure and pictures)
in
separate folders.
.mht and .msgfile types can store all that in a single a file.
Just curious; why are you moving those items out ofOutlook?

I open the email and go to file, save as and then find the file I want
to
put
it in on my computer. Does that help? There is no specified format
but
it
saves it as an .htm. Within that file that I want to save it to, it
creats 2
things - the first is the actual email with the subject line as the
document
title. The other is a file folder with the below listed files in it.
If
I
try to delete that file folder, it deletes the email as well.

You didn't provide any information to work with here.
Save them where? In what format? By what method?

I save my email messages in each clients files. After installing
2007
outlook, I noticed with the save it is creating another file folder
with
it
with 2 files in called colorschememapping.xml and filelist.xml. How
do
I
keep this from being created? Don't want them-uses up unnecessary
computer
space. Thanks.- Tekst uit oorspronkelijk bericht niet weergeven -
