Hi everybody,
just a question.
I am learning how to use my new PC(Vista Ultimate) with Office 2007 SP1.
Everything is working fine, I guess.
Simply, it seems that Outlook is a bit slow to display the incoming
messages. What I mean is that if I open Outlook, the inbox, shown in the
list of folders on left hand side, may indicate, for instance, 8 messages.
Now, It may take a while, sometimes 30 secs or more, for those messages to
appear in the actual mail window.
This happens even if the messages do not contain any "fancies" or attached
documents.
In other words, Il feel, but I may be wrong, the OL 2007 is a bit slower
than previous version (Outlook 2003).
What can be the cause? Are more checks performed on the incoming messages?
Indexing?
Is any tuning possible/necessary?
Many thanks in advance for your kind help.
