Outlook 2007 send and receive

Boz

I have Vista and outlook 2007 running on my machine. Just this week, I have
a problem sending and receiving e-mails from account(s). I have three POP
accounts I send and receive. When I manually hit the send and receive button
the send and receive tasks goes through 6 operations then multiplies to 12,
20, 50, and on and on, but never completes the operations and continues. I
ran it up to 1500 operations and then closed down outlook. I thought it may
be virus and checked the computer and no sign of anything along those lines.

There are no error messages or anything, it just will not stop sending and
receiving.

If it automatically sends and receives no problems, but the e-mail waiting
to send will not go out.

Any ideas? thanks...

I tried increasing the interval for send/receive, it has not helped. I went
through send and receive on each account without problems, when I process all
three accounts that is when I have problems.

If you are using a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook disable this
integration and try again.

Roady,

I thought I fixed the problem, but I was wrong. It seemed to be a certain
e-mail address. So I edit the e-mail and sent the message again no problems.
Now I have some problems with other e-mails. It seems to be randon, but the
send/recieve won't shut odnw it just continue to multiply. I also tried
disabling Trend PC, but that did not work.

Could there be a poblem with importing an old set of contacts and the
headers for the e-mail address? I had used outlook 2000 before to keep my
contacts.

Thanks,
Boz
