Outlook 2007 Send/Receive will not complete

My mail comes in and the message at the bottom of the window shows for
instance 20 out of 20 messages receieved or 1.5mb of 1.5mb received but never
gets to send receive complete. The only way of fixing this is to reboot my
PC! I use Vista 64 bit. Any thoughts please?
