Outlook 2007 sent items disappear

After installing the most recent Office update, suddently all my sent items
disappeared! I am not archiving any folders... and I did not make any
changes to my configurations.

The good news is... I think I found a solution! I ran the SCANPST.EXE file
and it seems to have possibly fixed the problem! :)

The question is: DID I LOSE ALL MY SENT ITEMS? There was about 6 months
worth of important emails that never re-appeared.

Any suggestions?

Do you have a view (filter) set that hides items from you? For example, you
can start Outlook with the /cleanviews command line switch to delete all
custom views and reset the built-in ones back to their defaults.
