Outlook 2007 Sent items no longer saving

Using exchange, from the client the last 3 days nothing sent is getting saved
to the sent items folder. If I send through OWA the item goes to sent items
and is then seen from the client. I have deleted the OST and had the client
recreate from exchange, applied SP2.

Any ideas, sent items are very important in this setting.

PS- yes the it is checked to save sent items in the options.

Is the option to "save sent items in other than the inbox in the current
folder" (Sorry - using OL 2010 and can't find the exact wording for 2007)
checked?
